Shri Abhay Singh Chautala needs no introduction. Over the years, he has emerged as a no-nonsense youth leader with mass appeal who does not hesitate to call a spade a spade. A MLA from Ellanabad Constituency, Haryana, he believes in the empowerment of women and has opened “Shrimati Haraki Devi Memorial College for Women,” where poor but meritorious girls are provided free boarding and lodging and fee.
As an MLA he took great interest in the promotion of sports and games and pushed the idea of popularizing and promoting sports in the rural areas in general. In recognition to his services to the cause of sports and games, he was elected president of Haryana Olympic Association and the Vice President of the Indian Olympic Association. Currently, he is the President of the Indian Boxing Federation. As chief patron of AMMAI Mr Chauatala's aim is to bring maximum awareness of Mixed Martial Arts in India and empower the AMMAI to govern and regulate the sport in the country.
Shri Narinder Batra has been associated with sports for a long time. He served as senior vice president of the Indian Hockey Federation and made it a successful organization.
